合金元素含量低于5%的中碳超高强度钢。多采用淬火加低温回火或等温淬火处理得到回火马氏体或贝氏体组织，其强度主要随碳含量升高而增大，但断裂靭性随碳含量升高而降低，从综合性能方面考虑多采用0.27%-0.5%的碳含量，添加适当的合金元素主要用于提高淬透性和抗回火稳定性。
