室温使用态组织为低碳贝氏体的工程结构钢。通常采用的碳含量为低于0.05%，当碳含量低于0.03%时往往也称为超低碳贝氏体钢（ultra-lowcarbonbainitesteel,ULCBsteel)。其基体组织为基本无碳的贝氏体加极少量均匀分布的马-奥岛，因而其强度显著高于铁素体-珠光体钢，而由于其碳含量很低因而具有良好的韧性和焊接性，在需要更高强度时往往还采用微合金碳氮化物或铜的析出强化。
