alloy structural steel with low carbon content (<0.13%), a small amount of manganese (<1.5%), and a small amount of molybdenum and chromium, containing more than 2.5% nickel. This kind of steel is still a ferritic steel with cold brittle transition. Increasing nickel content or proper heat treatment can significantly reduce the cold brittle transition temperature of steel, while reducing C content and S, P and other impurities can improve the low-temperature toughness.
