Explanation

Low alloy iron steel suitable for low temperature (273-153K). The service temperature of low temperature iron steel must be above its cold brittle transition temperature. To ensure low-temperature toughness, a lower carbon content (generally<0.12%) with fine ferrite grains should be used, and the content of harmful impurities such as phosphorus and arsenic that can cause low-temperature brittleness should be strictly controlled.
