Explanation
It determines the symmetry combination of the ideal crystal's macro geometric shape, that is, the symmetry type of crystal. It is combined by symmetry operation according to the macro symmetry elements of crystal. During symmetrical operation, at least one point of the crystal must be kept still. A total of 32 point group can be deduced.
