Explanation
The chemical pure iron with purity of 99.9% or more is produced by electrolytic deposition process. During electrolysis, cast iron is used as anode and ferrous chloride as electrolyte. cast iron is dissolved in the electrolyte. When the current passes, iron deposits on the steel cathode and becomes pure iron, with a purity of 99. More than 9%.
