The application of macro mechanics to the quantitative study of crack propagation of cracked objects. fracture mechanics is based on the premise that there is inevitably an original crack in the materials. According to the linear elasticity theory and the elastic-plastic theory, the stress field and strain field at the crack tip after the crack body is stressed are analyzed. The mechanical parameters describing the stress field near the crack tip and the mechanical criteria for the unstable propagation of the crack are proposed. The quantitative relationship between materials strength, crack size, part geometry and working stress is determined, and the fracture criterion is established.
