The lowest temperature at which propellant or explosive bursts under certain test conditions. It is one of the indicators for testing the chemical stability and thermal sensitivity of propellant or explosive. The methods for measuring the explosion tcmperature are constant rate heating method and constant temperature method. The value of explosion tcmperature varies with different test methods. Constant rate temperature rise method: when a certain amount of propellant is put into a heating bath with a certain temperature rise program to raise the temperature to explosion (deflagration luminescence or sound), measure the temperature of the heat bath medium, and take the lowest value of the test results of two parallel samples as the explosion tcmperature. The constant temperature method is used to measure the explosive delay period at several different constant temperature points.
