Substances containing radionuclides or contaminated by radionuclides, whose concentration or activity is greater than the cleaning and control level specified by the national audit and management department, and which are expected to no longer be used, are also called nuclear waste. It is divided into radioactive waste gas, liquid waste, and homogeneous waste, abbreviated as radioactive "three wastes".
