Explanation
The thermodynamics theory of non-equilibrium state or irreversible process is an extension of the classical thermodynamics theory. The advantage of classical thermodynamics is that it can deduce various relationships between various observables of equilibrium systems and reversible process only depending on a few basic principles or assumptions.
