Explanation

A continuous forming process of metal powder by rolling mill is an important powder metallurgy process to produce thin, long and constant cross section products. In this process, metal powder is fed into a set of forming roll from the hopper to produce continuous green belt blanks or thin sheets. Then, after sintering and secondary rolling if necessary, the final product with the required materials properties can be obtained. The final product may be fully dense or have the required porosity.
