Explanation
A consolidated clastic sedimentary rock, in which the content of silt sand with particle size of 0.025-0.039mm is more than 50%, and the rest is sand, clay or chemical deposit. The silt is mainly composed of quartze, followed by feldspar and muscovilte, and rock debris is rare. The roundness of the debris is poor and often appears in an angular shape. The cement is mainly composed of calcium and iron. Often with thin horizontal bedding.
