A light red to rose red quartze, also known as rose quartz. The color is caused by the presence of trace amounts of Mn and Ti in the ingredients. The color of rose quartz stone is unstable and can fade when heated; Long periods of exposure to sunlight can cause the color to fade. The transparency is low, mostly in a cloudy or semi transparent shape. In some cases, hibiscus stone may contain needle shaped rutile inclusions, so when grinded into curved gems, it can show starlight. The fissures of the crude ore are developed, and the fissures are often filled with impurities such as limonite. See quartze.
