Explanation
When two electrode reaction pots synthesize conjugate electrochemical reaction, they polarization each other, deviate from their respective equilibrium potential, and polarization to a common potential, that is, mixed potential. If the anodic reaction is the dissolution of metal at this time, and the reaction results in corrosion of metal, the mixed potential is also called corrosion potential.
