A kind of solid materials consisting of two or more components with different chemical properties, through physical or chemical methods, to form a multi phase macroscopically, and each phase has an obvious interface and new properties. composite materials should have the following characteristics: ① there is an obvious interface between composite material components; ② composite materials has excellent special properties that are not possessed by a single materials component; ③ composite materials are designable. It can not only retain the characteristics of the original materials, but also make the performance of each component complementary and related to each other through composition and materials design to obtain the performance that the original component does not have, and it is essentially different from the simple mixed preparation of ordinary materials.
