Also called modified double base propellant, it is a kind of high-energy homogeneous propellant developed on the basis of double base propellant. Its main components include nitrocellulose, nitroglycerin, aluminium powder, ammonia perchlorate, high-energy ammonium nitrate explosive (such as HMX or RDX), stabilizer and combustion catalysts. Its standard measured specific impulse can reach 2472N · s/kg, density 1.75-1.80g/cm3, combustion speed 10-20mm/s, burning rate pressure index 0.45-0.48, As adhesive is composed of digestible cellulose and nitrate, its elongation at low temperature is small, only about 6% at -40 ℃. It can be formed by screw pressing process or slurry casting process. Mainly used for solid motor charging of various rocket and missile weapons.
