Explanation
hardmetal made by bonding carbide with iron powder, low alloy powder, stainless steel or high speed steel powder. Generally, the maximum bonding composition is 75%, and the carbide content is 50%. steel bond hard alloy with hardness higher than that of high speed steel can be obtained by forming sintering, hot working and machining the mixture, and then by quenching and tempering.
