Explanation
The fibrous wire made by cutting wire, thin plate shearing, milling or melting can be made of non alloy structural steel, alloy structural steel and stainless steel. The properties of steel fibre vary greatly due to different manufacturing methods. For example, the tensile strength of steel fibre cut by cold drawn wire can reach 2000MPa, while that of steel fibre made by melt extraction is about 400MPa.
