The method of weld by using the resistance heat generated by high-frequency current through the joint area can be divided into butt joint and lap joint according to the joint matching mode. High frequency butt seam welding is mainly used for the production of metal welded pipes. The current frequency is 200-500kHz. The required power is related to the material, pipe diameter, wall thickness and weld speed. High frequency lap seam welding is mainly used for longitudinal seam weld of food cans and various internal pressure cans.
