It is characterized by low thermal conductivity. There are two main types: ① High temperature heat insulating coating, which refers to the coating that can play the role of high temperature thermal insulation prepared by plasma spraying, flame spraying, melting or inorganic bonding processes on the surface of the structural substrate. The commonly used raw materials are high-temperature resistant oxides with low thermal conductivity, such as Al2O3, ZrO2, TiO2, and other fire-resistant thermal insulation materials, such as hollow spheres, expanded perlite, foam clinker, asbestos, potassium titanate fibers, etc. Sometimes metal or high-temperature inorganic fibers are used for reinforcement, widely used in aerospace technology and other high-temperature insulation applications; ② Multilayer foil heat insulating coating is applied to metal foil or metallized film to form a multi-layer super thermal insulation materials system. The coating raw materials are oxide particles such as Al2O3, ZrO2, TbO2, YO2, etc. In the super thermal insulation materials system, the metal surface acts as a heat reflection screen, and the oxide particles act as a barrier to the heat path. Therefore, this super thermal insulation materials system has an extremely low vacuum thermal conductivity. The temperature range can be as low as -270 ° C and as high as 1900 ° C, widely used in space technology and vacuum technology.
