Suitable for making steel for cutting tools, moulds, measuring tools and other tools. Due to different applications, the performance requirements for steel are also different. cutting tool steel requires high strength, hardness, wear resistance and thermal hardness; hot-working die steel requires high temperature strength, hardness, thermal conductivity and fatigue resistance; cold working die steel requires high strength, hardness, wear resistance, fatigue resistance and toughness, and gauge steel requires high hardness, wear resistance, dimensional stability and certain turbidity resistance. According to the chemical composition and application of steel, tool steel can be divided into non alloy tool steel, alloy tool steel and high-speed tool steel.
