Explanation
The carbon content is not more than 0.04%, and the purity is 99.5% -99.9%. pure iron, also known as Armco-iron or ingot iron, can be industrialized and mass produced. The purity of Armco-iron is lower than that of electrolytic iron, so its strength, hardness and elastic modulus are higher than those of electrolytic iron, but its plasticity is relatively low.
