Explanation
Chain structure silicate mineral. A small amount of Fe often replaces A1. Orthorhombic crystal system. The crystal are needle shaped, and the aggregates are radial or fibrous. Grayish white. Those containing iron are yellow, brown and grayish green, with glass luster.
