Mainly produced in Fangshan, Beijing, Quyang, Hebei, Fengyang, Anhui and other places in China. marble is commonly used to decorate walls, make tabletops, stationery, and handicrafts. white marble is used in the railings around the foundation of the main hall of the Forbidden City in Beijing, the large and medium-sized buildings in the Summer Palace, the ornamental column in Tianmen Square, and the reliefs of the Monument to the People's Heroes.
