Explanation
Volcanic debris with a particle size of<2mm formed during volcanic eruptions. The chemical composition varies greatly, ranging from basic to acidic; The phase is mainly composed of glass chips, rock chips and crystal chips. The Tertiary and Quaternary volcanic ash is mostly loose, characterized by small bulk density, small density, large porosity and high activity. Most of the volcanic ash of other ages has solidified into tuff. It can be used as an active mixture of cement and an admixture of concrete, as well as a light materials for thermal insulation and sound insulation, and as an abrasive and filler. Mainly distributed in northern Heilongjiang and eastern Jilin in China.
