Explanation
An ultramafic metamorphic rock. It is dominated by hornblende minerals, and can contain a small amount of biotite, quartze, olivine, spinel or magnetite. Fibrous or columnar crystalloblastic structure and schistose structure. According to the type of amphibole, it can be further divided into tremolite schist, actinolite schist, ordinary amphibole schist, magnesium iron amphibole schist, and amphibole schist.
