Explanation
Also known as dielectric, it is a kind of materials with electric polarization characteristics. There is no charge that can move freely inside the dielectric materials, but when subjected to the external electric field, the positive and negative charges will shift and deviate from the symmetry center, resulting in polarization, or the existing spontaneous polarization dipoles will rearrange along the direction of the electric field to form the electric dipole moment.
