It is a special fiber manufacturing process, which is a method of jet spinning of polymer solution or melt in a strong electric field. The basic equipment of electrostatic spinning includes: high-voltage power supply, spinneret and receiving device. The spinning liquid is extruded from the spinneret through the injection pump to form droplets. The droplets become conical under the action of high voltage, and are further excited to form a jet after exceeding a certain critical voltage. The jet vibrates and changes sharply in the air, thus stretching and refining. With solvent volatilization or molten body cooling and curing, the droplets eventually fall on the receiving device to form fibers, with a diameter of tens of nanometers to several microns. The nanofibre prepared by electrostatic spinning can be used in the fields of battery and electrode materials, chemistry and biosensor, biology and medicine, high-efficiency filtering materials, etc.
