Explanation
It is a macromolecule organosilicon compound, usually called organosilicon. Inert, non-toxic, nonflammable, good light transmittance, good biocompatibility, easy to connect with a variety of materials at room temperature. polydimethylsiloxanes is the most widely used silicon based organic polymer materials, which is used in microfluidic systems, caulking agents, lubricant, contact lenses, etc. Liquid polydimethylsiloxanes is a viscous, nonvolatile liquid, called silicone oil, which is a mixture of organosiloxanes with chain structures of different polymerization degrees. Its end groups and side groups are all hydrocarbon groups (such as methyl, ethyl, phenyl, etc.). The solid polydimethylsiloxanes is a silicone gel gel, transparent elastomer.
