Also known as teflon, it is spun from polytetrafluoroethylene. There are three main preparation methods: the first is to mix polylctrafluorocthylone lotion with synthetic or natural polymer as carrier, wet spinning and sintering above melting point of polylctrafluorocthylone; The second is made by mixing volatile liquid medium (such as white oil) and polylctrafluorocthylone powder into paste, then spinning, stretching and sintering; The third is the film cutting method, which takes the polytetrafluoroethylene sintering cylinder as the starting material, cuts into fiber strips, and then forms fibers by hot stretching. The fiber has chemical inertia and hydrophobicity, waxy surface and non adhesion, and the friction coefficient is the smallest among synthetic fiber (dynamic friction coefficient 0.2 and static friction coefficient 0.16). It is mainly used to make high-temperature dust filter bags, sealing fillers, reinforcing materials of ion exchange membranes for alkali manufacturing industry, and can also be used as sutures.
