Also known as imine film. It generally refers to a kind of organic polymer with imide ring in its molecular structure. It is mainly prepared by condensation polymerization, tape casting, stretching and imidization of dianhydride monomer and diamine monomer in polar aprotic solvent. Due to its usually golden appearance, it is also known as the "gold film". Polyimidf films has excellent thermal stability, mechanical properties, dielectric properties and chemical stability, and is widely used in aviation, aerospace, electrical, electronic and other fields. The manufacturing process of polyimidf films mainly includes aluminum foil method, tape casting method and biaxial stretching method. The polyimidf films prepared by biaxial stretching process has the most excellent high-temperature dimensional stability, and is the mainstream commercial product at present. Polyimidf films can be used as chip carrier, flexible packaging substrates, flexible display device substrate and flexible solar cell substrate in microelectronics and display industry. In recent years, the colorless and transparent polyimidf films has received extensive attention.
