A modified polyimide having alternating ester imide repeat chains in the polymer macromolecule chain. It is prepared by reacting and polycondensation of terephthalic anhydride hydroquinone ester and diamine in a strong polar solvent at room temperature. The prepared amide acid solution can be used to prepare film or dried into powder. The light yellow transparent and tough film made of polyesterimide has higher strength than ordinary polyimide film. The bating temperature is 300 ° C, and the long-term use temperature is 230-240 ° C. The hardness of the film surface is 3H. High temperalure oxidation stability is not as good as that of polyester free polyimide in the main chain. Chemical resistant parts are good, and the medium loss factor is low. polyesterimide is mainly used as Class F and Class H motor immersion insulation paint, heat-resistant insulation film, cable coating, semiconductor packaging, etc.
