Amiozonant or antiozidant is a kind of antiager. Substances that delay or prevent the interaction between materials and ozone through chemical action (or through the combination of physical and chemical processes) are mainly used in rubber products. These rubber products will deteriorate due to cracking when exposed to the atmosphere containing ozone. The excellent amiozonant or antiozidant can quickly react with ozone, forming a layer of oxidation protection film on the surface of rubber products to prevent ozone from continuing to penetrate into the inner layer and play the role of aging prevention. At the same time, it can also crosslinking with the aldehyde and ketone groups generated by rubber macromolecule after ozone aging chain breaking to prevent its further degradation, thus playing a protective role. Amiozonant or antiozidant is widely used in various civil and military rubber products, such as tires, cushions, rubber pads, gas masks, electrical gloves, toys, etc. Common types of amiozonant or antiozidant include: p-phenylenediamine derivatives, quinoline derivatives, nickel dithiocarbamate, thiourea derivatives, waxes, etc., among which p-phenylenediamine derivatives have better effects.
