Explanation
The complement system refers to a group of protein reaction systems with enzyme activity widely existing in serum, tissue fluid and cell membrane surface, which plays an important role in the body's resistance to infection. However, abnormal activation or conditioning of complement is also involved in the occurrence and development of many inflammatory diseases.
