Explanation

Also known as indirect deoxygenation, the concentration ratio of oxygen as a solute in the steel liquid and in the slag is a constant at a certain temperature. Adding powder deoxidizer such as C, Fe Si, Al, Si Ca or crushed carbide with strong oxygen binding ability to the slag surface can reduce the quality of oxygen solution in the slag, so that the oxygen in the steel liquid can be continuously transferred to diffusion in the slag to reduce the oxygen content in steel.
