unsaturated polyester resin is one of the most commonly used thermosetting resin. It is generally a linear macromolecule compound with ester bond and unsaturated double bond formed by condensation of unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and diols or saturated dicarboxylic acid and unsaturated diols. Generally, the polyester polycondensation reaction reaction is carried out at 190~220 ℃ until the expected acid value (or viscosity) is reached. After the completion of the polyester polycondensation reaction reaction, a certain amount of vinyl monomer is added while hot to prepare a viscous liquid. Such polymer solution is called unsaturated polyester resin.
