The elementary reaction of chain polymerization is the process of monomer producing active center. initiator produces primary reactive species such as free radicals, cations or anions, and primary reactive species are added to monomer to form monomer free radicals, monomer cations or monomer anions and other monomer reactive species. According to the type of reactive species, chain polymerization can be divided into different types. According to the initiation mode, it can be divided into thermal initiation, photoinitiation, radiation initiation and initiator initiation.
