Brinell hardness hardness is a standard to indicate the hardness of materials. Determined by Brinell hardness tester. It was first proposed by Swede J.A. Brinell, so it is called Brinell hardness hardness. Press the quenching steel ball with diameter D into the surface of the tested metallic materials with a certain load P, and remove the load after holding it for a period of time. The ratio of load P to indentation surface area F is the Brinell hardness hardness value, which is recorded as HB.
