In addition to fine scale chlorite, there are also epidote, actinolite, sodium feldspar, quartze, seridte, etc. Sometimes it contains a small amount of caldte. Green to dark green, with obvious schistosity, slightly greasy and soft texture. It is the most common rock type in green schist. It is usually formed by low-grade metamorphism of intermediate basic volcanic rock or clayey rock. The fragments of chlorite schist are Chinese medicine, namely lapis lazuli.
