heat treatment process in which one or more imermetallif compound are precipitated from supersaturated alloy elements in martensitic matrix with extremely low carbon content. The precipitated phase dispersedly distributes in the martensite matrix, which can significantly improve the strength and hardness of materials, while maintaining good plastic toughness.
