austenitization is the basic process of heat treatment of steel materials and the basis of the subsequent austenite ferrite phase transformation. austenitization can be roughly divided into four stages: austenite nucleation formation, austenite nucleation growth, residual ferrite transformation (hypo-eutectoid steel) and residual carbide dissolution (hypereutectoid steel), and austenite homogenization.
