Nanobelts are nanostructures that range between one and two dimensions, referring to rectangular nanostructures with rectangular cross-sections, thicknesses on the nanometer scale, widths up to several hundred nanometers, large width to thickness ratios, and very thin structures. Its remarkable feature is that it has a specific and complete crystal plane, and its arbitrary vertical section is rectangular. The main methods for preparing nanoribbons include vacuum condensation method, microemulsion synthesis method, template synthesis method, molecular self-assembly method, etc. Different from materials such as nanotube and nanowires, nanobelt have unique structure and photoelectric properties, so they have attracted much attention. It is an ideal system to study the transport phenomena in functional oxides and the scale effect of single nanobelt components. nanobelt have large specific surface, and their electrical properties are very sensitive to surface adsorption, so they are suitable for use as sensors. The nanobelt sensor has the characteristics of fast response, high sensitivity and good selectivity.
