Explanation
It can be used for occasions that can withstand abrasive wear and corrosion at the same time. The main alloy elements are chromium and nickel, a kind of alloy steel. There are three types: austenilic stainless steel; Martensitic stainless steel; Ferritic stainless steel, hardness of annealing state is HV180. In general, martensite stainless steel should be selected in the corrosive wear process dominated by abrasive wear, and austenite type should be selected in the corrosive wear process dominated by corrosion. The corrosion resistance of ferritic stainless steel is better than that of martensite and worse than that of austenite, but its price is lower than that of austenite.
