Explanation
The symbol TN refers to the transformation temperature from ferromagnetism to amiferromagnetifim. When the temperature Tferromagnetism disappears and transformation into nonmagnetism. In the case of ferromagnetism, magnetic moment of an atom are arranged in parallel on the lattice nodes, and then the magnetic moment of each atom are added to show strong magnetism. In amiferromagnetifim, the magnetic moment of an atom are arranged in pairs antiparallel, resulting in the magnetic moment cancelling each other. In Fe Cr Ni and Fe Mn Al austenitic steel, nickel stabilizes austenite while reducing TN point, while increasing manganese stabilizes austenite and increases TN point. Increasing nitrogen helps stabilize austenite, but has no obvious effect on ferromagnetism. Therefore, in the above austenitic steel, replacing part of nickel with manganese can stabilize austenite and realize non-magnetic effect at low temperature. Based on the guidance of this theoretical basis, a series of austenitic low temperature non-magnetic steel grades of iron chromium manganese nickel nitrogen series have been developed.
