optical parametric oscillation and amplification materials is the academic term of materials, which refers to the nonlinear optical materials that amplifies or produces tunable laser parametric oscillation by using the effect of optical parameters. It is required that materials have large parametric amplification capability, wide wavelength tuning capability, large nonlinear optical coefficient, and their phase matching conditions allow the parametric effect in a large wavelength range to be realized through the change of angle or temperature.
