Linear and cyclic products obtained from the reaction of trimethylaluminum with water. The co catalyst commonly used in metallocene catalyst is a low molecular weight polymer obtained by partial hydrolysis of trimethyl aluminum, with degree of polymerization of 5-30. The structure and composition of methylaluminoxane are complex, and its chemical formula is (C5H12O3) n, CAS No.: 120144-90-3. It is a white amorphous powder under normal temperature and pressure, which is highly sensitive to water and air. It should be sealed and stored. It is soluble in benzene, toluene, xylene and other aromatic hydrocarbons, and has low water solubility in aliphatic hydrocarbons such as hexane and heptane.
