Explanation
High temperature resistant and high modulus aromatic heterocyclic polymer containing benzothiazole repeating unit in the main chain of macromolecule is a lyotmpic liquid crystals polymer, which is usually prepared by polycondensation of 3,3 '- mercaptobenzidine and aromatic dicarboxylic acid (or its derivatives). The product is a deep yellow to brown solid with excellent heat resistance and chemical stability, high strength, and high modulus. Mainly used in high-performance films, fibers, and coatings.
