nylon resin polyamide with alternating structure of polyphenylene terephthalate and hexamethylene diamine. It belongs to semi aromatic polyamides with high heat resistance. The relative density of this resin is 1.32, the melting point is between 300 ° C and 310 ° C, and the heat deflection temperature is 290 ° C. This resin has the advantages of high strength, high rigidity, low water absorption and good dimensional stability. It is almost only soluble in strong acid solvents such as concentrated sulfuric acid or trifluoroacetic acid. The resin can be prepared by polycondensation reaction between terephthaloyl gas and hexamethylene diamine, or by solid phase polycondensation reaction between terephthalic acid and hexamethylene diamine. It can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, and other methods. This resin is mainly used to manufacture automobile and general mechanical parts, including automobile engine room parts, heat-resistant electrical parts, electronic assemblies, and high flow ability and rotational transmission parts.
