Explanation
In the process of polymer processing, the fluid is formed by stretching. Elongationai flow refers to the flow in which the stress is applied to the fluid so that the cross-sectional area of the fluid perpendicular to the flow direction decreases. The direction of velocity gradient generated by fluid under stress is the same as that of fluid flow. elongationai flow makes polymer macromolecule, chain segment or microcrystalline structure orderly arrange along the stretching direction, which improves strength and transparency.
