Also known as split membrane fiber - refers to the man-made fiber that is made of fiber forming polymer through uniaxial tension and fiber breaking treatment after being made into a film. This method is only used to spin coarse denier man-made fiber with low requirements on the uniformity of linear density of the obtained fibers, and the products are used to make cables, carpets and some decorative fabrics.
